LIMITED LIABILITY WARRANTY

Arktime - a subsidiary of Galleon Systems Ltd.

Galleon Systems Ltd. shall warrant it's products distributed in North America to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years. This warranty is extended to the original purchaser only, and proof of purchase is required to file a claim.

How to File a Claim:

If the purchaser believes there is a warranted problem, contact Galleon Systems Ltd. in writing at the address below, or e-mail to warrantyclaims@arktime.com within 30 days of discovering the problem. A copy of the receipt, along with the original purchaser's name, address, phone number, e-mail address (if available) and a brief description of the problem must be included.

At its sole discretion, Galleon Systems Ltd. will repair or replace the defective part or the product in its entirety. Shipping charges from ArkTime to the original customer for the replacement part or product will be paid by Galleon Systems Ltd.; however any associated labor charges are not covered.

You must obtain a return authorization number (RMA) from Galleon Systems Ltd. before returning any products for warranty claims. All products returned to ArkTime must ship freight prepaid.

What is Not Covered by This Warranty:

  • This Warranty does not apply if repairs are required due to acts of nature beyond ArkTime's control (such as, but not limited to, vandalism, lightning strikes and damage due to neglect for example misuse, damage, neglect, or if repairs/modifications have been made or attempted by anyone other than personnel authorized by ArkTime.
  • ArkTime disclaims any liability for damage to displays, computers, other property, or personal injury resulting, in whole, or in part, from improper installation, unauthorized modification, incorrect voltage connections, misuse or abuse of its products.
  • ArkTime disclaims any other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties for fitness for a particular purpose and warranties of merchantability.
  • ArkTime will not be liable whatsoever for incidental or inconsequential damages, including but not limited to the use or inability to use ArkTime products, or labor costs for removing and replacing defective parts or products.
  • Freight Damage: Once the product leaves the ArkTime warehouse, it becomes the responsibility of the purchaser. Upon receipt of your shipment, open and inspect the merchandise. Report any damages and file a claim with the freight company. Refuse any shipment with obvious freight damage - file a claim with the freight company and contact ArkTime immediately.
  • The 5 year warranty covers all Galleon Systems Ltd. designed equipment but excludes additional items such as GPS antennas and network clocks that have their own specific warranty.

IN NO EVENT WILL GALLEON SYSTEMS LTD./ARKTIME BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FROM THE SALE OR USE OF THIS PRODUCT. THIS DISCLAIMER APPLIES BOTH DURING AND AFTER THE TERM OF THE WARRANTY. ArkTime DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE.

Some states and jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitations may not apply.

Returns Procedure:

To obtain service under this Warranty, contact ArkTime at +44 121 608 7210 or at the address below during the Warranty period to receive a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions.

Then ship the product believed to be defective, transportation prepaid, for inspection. ArkTime will not be responsible for dismounting and remounting of units, for unauthorized returns or for returns that do not list the RMA number and quantity returned on a packing list attached in plain view on the outside of the shipping container.

Refunds

How do I get a refund?

You may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by ArkTime.com within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

When will I get my refund?

Usually in about 2-3 weeks. Most refunds are fully refunded in 3-5 days after we receive and process your return.

Will any return costs be refunded?

If you return something because of an error on our part or because it's defective, we'll refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and pay your costs of returning it to us (either by a personalised pre-paid return label or by refunding your return postage costs).
